Privacy policy

Worksheet Generator is built for K-12 teachers. We collect only the data needed to generate worksheets for you and improve the service, and we never sell your data.

What we collect

• Account information (name and email) received through Google OAuth.
• Worksheet inputs you provide: topic, grade level, standards.
• Usage events (worksheet generations, logins) for analytics.
• Billing metadata from Stripe (we never see full card numbers).
• Contact form submissions, including school or district inquiry details and optional phone numbers when you provide them.

How we use it

• Generating your worksheets and maintaining your library.
• Providing account support and responding to your inquiries.
• Aggregate, anonymized analytics to improve the product.
• Reviewing generated worksheets for quality, safety, formatting improvements, and potential inclusion in platform-owned template collections under the Terms of Service.

Service providers and data sharing

We do not sell personal information. We disclose data to service providers only as needed to operate the product: Google for OAuth, Stripe for subscription billing, Vercel for application hosting and consent-gated analytics, managed PostgreSQL infrastructure for account storage, Resend for configured email delivery, and Groq or Cerebras for AI-assisted worksheet generation. Prompts, uploaded source material, and related worksheet instructions may be sent to the configured AI provider to complete your request. Each provider handles that data under its own terms and privacy commitments.

Student data (FERPA)

Worksheet Generator is intended for teacher use and does not require student records. Users can still type or upload information, so do not submit student names, identifiers, education records, grades, or scores. Schools must evaluate their intended use, contracts, and legal obligations; this policy does not claim automatic FERPA compliance.

Children under 13 (COPPA)

Worksheet Generator is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them. Accounts require teacher or administrator sign-up. If a student account is created in error, a parent, guardian, or school administrator can email maestro.committee@gmail.com so we can review the request and use the account-deletion workflow. Do not submit student identifiers through the product or support form.

Privacy requests and available controls

Depending on your location, additional legal rights may apply. Current product controls include:

• Access — download all your data via /api/user/export or by emailing us.
• Deletion — request deletion of current application account records via Settings › Danger zone; provider and legally retained records follow their applicable policies.
• Rectification — correct any inaccurate data via Settings › Profile.
• Portability — export to a machine-readable JSON file (above).
• Object — opt out of marketing email via the unsubscribe link in every email.

Email maestro.committee@gmail.com for a privacy request. Response timing depends on the request, verified identity, applicable law, and our role for the data involved.

Breach notification

Security incidents are assessed based on the affected data, our role, applicable law, and any governing contract. Required notices will be handled on that basis; this page does not promise one universal deadline.
